Chief Warden Course

Competent leadership reduces risks through a systematic preparation. This increases the survivability of the occupants of the building and reduces the impact of an emergency through sound post-event strategies.

There are two options available for Chief Warden training. The first is a comprehensive nationally recognised course using the Public Safety Workplace Emergency Response (PUAWER) units of competency.  This course is designed to provide participants with the skill, knowledge and experience to perform the duties of a Chief Warden. The second course is not nationally recognised but instead covers an overview of the requirements of a Chief Warden.
