VitalCall is the largest personal response service provider in Australia. It was established over 30 years ago by a doctor to enable his elderly patients to retain their independence in their own home. From this time the VitalCall system has been further developed to its current eighth generation product.

Why choose VitalCall?

When we grow older, we become more easily distressed by situations that may become potentially harmful. VitalCall is a service where help is only a phone call away. From time to time people need help for a range of reasons including: 

  • a slip or fall around the home
  • a broken salad bowl with glass scattered around the floor
  • a potential flood after a recent rain pour
  • a sudden chest pain whilst doing the laundry

These situations are all potentially dangerous if help is not promptly requested.

You don’t need to be close to your phone. VitalCall is as close as the press of a button. VitalCall pendants can be worn around the neck or wrist. Our response operators will dispatch help, by asking you if we need to call an ambulance, or a neighbour. One of our caring response operators will also stay on the line with you, until help arrives. 

Maintenance of the VitalCall unit  is taken care of. Should your unit get damaged, we will replace it with a new unit. Most VitalCall systems are set up to test the system is fully working once every 34 days. You don’t pay extra for this service. The VitalCall system also has an exclusive feature to notify you should someone accidentally turn off the electricity at the power point. Once your electricity is restored, your unit will send a confirmation message.
